經過了一晚的休息,
整理好行李, 我們在十一點前 check-out.
決定先去 Beddis Beach 再來覓食.
照著簡略的地圖沿著 Beddis Road 一直開,
走到了一條死路卻也不見海灘的蹤影.
轉回頭, 看到一個蠻特別的公園停了一下,
然後繞一繞到了別人家院子裡, 是看見了美麗的海景,
照了幾張相, 聽見了狂妄的狗叫聲, 一行人便上車逃跑.

不死心之餘, 又繼續再附近尋覓,
赫然發現 Beddis Beach 的招牌就在一條小徑旁. (原來 Amazing Race 就是這樣容易錯過某些招牌)
剛到達海灘, 一隻可愛的牧羊犬就熱情的向我們跑來.

兩位女士們在海灘上開始玩起尋寶遊戲,
撿拾各式各樣的貝殼和石頭.

欣賞完海景, 走了海灘,
我們回到了 Ganges, 選定 Oystercatcher Seafood Bar & Grill 用餐.
點的食物有 Fish & Chips, Grilled Oysters etc.

用過了午餐, 再度上路.
沿著 Fulford-Ganges Road 轉到 Cranberry Road 一路行進,
我們的目的地是 Mount Maxwell Lookout.
車行至某個地方之後, 全是難行的山路,
兩車交會不容易通過, 而且坡陡路泥濘又歧嶇不平.
雖然是不算長的路程, 可是花了好一段時間才完成登頂.

山頂上的景觀真的是太棒了!!!

離開了 Mount Maxwell,
繼續順著 Fulford-Ganges Road 往南開, 會到達 Fulford Harbour.
這裡也是我們要經 Swartz Bay 返回 Tsawwassen 搭船的港口.
因為提早到 Fulford, 於是就在港口旁邊的小店逛了一下.
直到開始要登船的時候我們才急忙趕回車上.
Fulford 到 Swartz Bay 是不用船費的,
如果是要繼續換船坐往 Tsawwassen, 需要在船上購買一人份的 Throughfare,
那麼在 Swartz Bay 就可以享有折扣價的船票回 Tsawwassen.
這樣的票價與從 Long Harbour 直接坐往 Tsawwassen 是一樣的,
但是因為當天只有一大早和已經滿位三點鐘的船,
所以我們跑到 Fulford Harbour 去乘下午 3:50 分的船, 也順便多遊逛一個景點.

從Fulford Harbour 到 Swartz Bay 大約只需要 35 分鐘的時間.
到達 Swartz Bay 之後, 應該是要靠最左線有個地方可以再轉回 Ferry Terminal,
不過我們不小心錯過了那個蠻小的迴轉點, 於是就開到了下一個交流道再回頭.
很幸運的是, 還來得及買船票搭上了五點從 Swartz Bay 開往 Tsawwassen 的船.
一個半小時航行時間, 我們在船上又玩起了橋牌,
套用 Mark 所說的, 這是兩個 decks (deck of cards & deck of ferry) 的再次重逢.
七點半左右下了船, 開往 Tsawwassen 鬧區尋找傳說中好吃的 Mario's Kitchen.
Fried Calamari, Ribs 還有一盤 Pasta, 四個人分還蠻有飽足感的.
溫哥華才是美食的天堂!
菜足麵飽之後, 才踏上了回家的路程,
結束了兩天一夜的鹽泉島之旅.
看完之後你也許會問... 那什麼是"玻璃狗"?
玻璃狗是一種根據傳說曾經出現在鹽泉島上的一種動物,
要很幸運才能看見牠們呢!
也許下次(如果有下次)我們再來造訪鹽泉島的時候會有機會見到,
或者在別的地方也會出現.
讓我們期待與玻璃狗的相遇吧.
所以死不說玻璃狗是何物便是了~

(記性不好還死背 order, 菜不上, 給錯帳單, 第二張菜沒上的item 還在上面...etc.

某間比較靠近你家的牛肉麵店的服務態度也不怎麼樣......
