四月十五號復活節的長周末,
Phoebe 開車載了 Mark, Nancy 和我踏上往 Salt Spring Island 的旅程.
我們之中沒有人曾經踏上這個小島,
我也只從 Elisa 和 Cindy 的 blog 上和其餘瑣碎 Google 來的資訊, 略為有了點初步的認識.
前一天下午我已經事先預訂了 BC Ferries 從 Tsawwassen 到 Long Harbour 的船.
禮拜六只有兩班船從 Tsawwassen 出發, 所以事先預定比較保險,也不需要多收手續費.
我們抵達 Ferry Terminal 後還有二十分鐘才開船, 就先在附近的商店區逛了一下.
在那邊, Mark 看見了疑似綠色文化的團體及負責的導覽先生.
上了船, Mark 和我先去拿了簡介,
還有一份地圖與我在 Stuido Tour 網站下載的一樣但是清楚許多.
這份地圖也是我們這趟旅程的救命保典.
在船上我們吃了點東西, 欣賞了風景, 玩了兩場橋牌,
而船就很準時的在一點十分靠岸.
開車下了船,根據可靠的網站指出禮拜六的 Market 只開到三點半,
所以我們就冒著風雨火速趕往 Ganges, 搶搭市集的末班車.
想不到卻遇見 Salt Spring Island 難得的堵車情景.

抵達 Ganges 停好車走到 Market 也不過是下午兩點左右.
此時風雨變得有點大, 尤其是風, 把傘都要吹翻了.
然後 Market 也就在我們眼前開始收攤...

或許是因為天氣不好又缺乏人潮的關係吧,
不過也有可能是大家要回家過復活節?!
走到 Market 的盡頭, 大家為了躲雨也因為肚子餓了,
就鑽進了一間墨西哥餐廳 Cafe El Zocalo 裡頭去. (Google後竟然發現這間店要賣!)
在溫哥華吃過這麼多好料的, 這樣子的東西大概稱不上美味,
不過大夥也吃得津津有味.

吃飽之後留在 Ganges 逛了一下紀念品和手工藝品店.
就往我們晚上要住的 St. Mary Lake Resort 前進.
離 Ganges 十分鐘左右的車程, 位於寧靜的 St. Mary Lake 旁.
我們的 Cottage 11 是離湖最近的一間,
不過天氣尚寒, 沒有什麼人從事水上活動.

放置好東西我們去 Liquor Store 小採購,
然後順著 Vesuvius Bay Road 到了 Vesuvius Bay (Salt Spring Island 的另一個碼頭).
大概五點多去拜訪忘了把 "Open" 牌子拿下來的 Avanti Glass Studio.
我們抵達的時候藝術家還在製作很可愛的玻璃小球, 串成一起可以當手飾.
還有其他水晶和各種顏色的玻璃飾品, 真的令人目不暇己.

然後我們順著 Sunset Drive, 看到了美麗大草原,
牧場裡的驢子, 小白羊, 小黑羊, 還有會回 Nancy 咩的羊媽媽和小小羊.

找不到 Mark 想去的 Southey Point, 我們走 North End Road, 然後 North Beach Road,
到了 Fernwood Point.
Fernwood Point 那裡有一條狹長的碼頭, 碼頭邊有抓螃蟹的籠子和一颼孤單的小船.
到達的時候是又晴又雨的, 於是我們看見了彩虹.
雨點打在海水上面加上風的吹拂, 真的能夠感受到所謂的波光粼粼.

而後我們到臨近的 The Raven Street Market Cafe 用晚餐.
Wood Fired Mussels 還不錯吃
但我點的 Salt Spring Clam and Mussel Bake 幾乎長得一樣, 然後湯汁又很鹹...
用過晚餐我們回到了小木屋.
看電視洗過澡, 玩起了好久都玩不完的大富翁. (國家公園版的喔~)

玩到了一種累的境界後, 繼續玩 Poker.
然後睡得很香甜.
哈哈哈, 最後還是你比我快阿~
許多事我都忘了呢.

而是根本就是@@

既然你都寫遊記了,
我應該會完完全全的變的懶得寫吧.

看來好像最後就真的只有我寫完了遊記.
我喜歡趁記憶還沒消退之前趕快記錄一下,
要不然以後再看到照片只會覺得"好像去過了這,做過了什麼".
