This is traditional Latin American tea, called "tereré," made from tea leaves named "yerba."

day61.jpg
Usually we pour in cold water to cool off a big, hot, summer day, sipping tea and watching "futbol."

day62.jpg
Lovely water container with lovely cup called a "guampa." Its straw has a special filter at one end to prevent the tea leaves from being sipped into the mouth.

this is tea, right?

Posted by: melody at January 6, 2005 11:47 PM

So um why is that duracell there? Is there a certain voltage/current you need to filter out the tea? Or did duracell expand its manufacturing to water bottles in Paraguay, completely automatic and also acts like a car battery or something =P

DUHHHH dude, it's just a leather cover duracell handed out as promotion material and my friends decided to make good use of it ;)
