A Paraguayan Sunday for the Chinese Kids...

So, Paraguay isn't a place of much entertainment.
It's definitely not filled with Chinese people either, unlike Vancouver.
So what do Chinese kids usually do here on Sunday mornings?
- Sleep, 顧店, or go to church in the morning
- Go out for lunch
- Go to cybercafes to play games, go shopping, go play pool, hang out in someone's house
- Go to Chiang Kai Shek Chinese School to play basketball
- Go drink some coffee, eat some ice cream... well, some kind of snack
- Go shopping again, or to play pool, back to play basketball, or something listed or not done earlier in the day
- Go home
The past Sunday 08/09 was indeed another typical Sunday that I haven't really experienced in the last two years. Before I left for Vancouver, I was completely used to these Sundays.... I never thought I'd miss its normality!!
So what'd we do....
I went to Church in the morning...
Then fAtTy picked me up at noon and we went to eat at 榮門, a Korean-Chinese 小吃店 with my favorite Korean-Chinese dishes.... we ordered 一盤炸雞翅, 一盤韓式糖醋肉, and a 榨醬麵. Later David came and we ordered an extra Jiang-Pon (韓式辣海鮮麵... 麵可是店裡的山東老闆親自做的!). And then later, Herman, Jose, and Marcos joined us as well.
So afterwards we decided to go to Galeria Bonita, a tiny shopping area with beautiful architecture..... we took some photos, then went to another shopping mall called Shopping del Sol. There Oscar and Felipe came to find us as well, and we went stayed there walkin' around and such until 3 pm.
Then we went to CKS (Chinese School)..... the guys played basketball, and the girls decided to burn some calories too! So.... fAtTy, me, Lucia, Chenny, Yen, and Katty played some 3 on 3 basketball^^ Man haven't played for such a long time, I sure missed it!
Since we burned a few calories, we decided to add some back^^ :D And so we went to an ice cream store called 4D. I was still coughing a bit so I drank some cappucchino..... Yen had an ice capp, Chin had a huge strawberry sundae, and Herman had a meat burger with fries and a 草莓牛奶.
Then we went back to CKS..... hung out, listened to music, made fun of each other... you know, the usual ;)
I got home around 6 pm, and that was the end of our typical Sunday......

But that didn't end for me ;) 中華會館曹理事長 invited lots of 華僑 to Paulista Grill (Brazilian BBQ) to have some dinner.... so I went with my mom and met faTtY there and had a good time ;)
Then I went home... for real this time ;) and faTtY went back to her home in another town in Paraguay, called Encarnacion.
And I really do have pictures.... I'll upload them in Vancouver... just these took me the whole day and a half to upload :|

after looking at this, maybe I like paraguay now...

Hey, Paraquay is in South America, right?
Well I'm definitely gonna go visit!!!
I have a friend in Columbia, and she says they have the greatest food!!!
And man, ppl are just so HOT there!!!!
Don't like most of the Miss Universe come out of South America?
Anyhoo, I'd like to go to South America someday.

Calliope, it's around 17 degrees here today.... :) I haven't really been doing anything too special - basically spending time with my mom, eating everything that's cool here, and packing up loh! I shall see you really really soon (whether you like it or not :P) hee hee take care!!!
Fatttttyyyyyy..... dun threaten me mah :| when are you coming lah?? My mom lets me go out ah.... but.... where can we go?? The other day was cuz I was gonna get my license issue fixed but there were some miscommunication in the midst of everything, so... 我就被罵了.... ay. >
